La Famille was founded by Paul Malget, whose passions for horticulture and sculpture find a natural home in floristry. Moving beyond the traditional, his work champions the unconventional and dramatic, seen in fully foraged installations (like A Meditation for Autumn, which he was invited to create for the RHS in 2018). Paul designs, teaches and supports a more artisanal approach.

La Famille aims to tread lightly on the earth and this results in a wildness, a free-spirited nature, which imbues all Paul’s work. He forages where he can, and grows his own flowers and foliage which feature in his designs. Rather than tame the plants he uses, he allows the beauty and elegance of their natural forms to shine through.

La Famille’s ethos lies in the discipline of craft and a deep-rooted respect for the natural world.
